Junior Games Programmer

I've been working as a Junior Programmer at Hyper Luminal Games, Dundee since March 2022. In 2021, I graduated from Abertay University where I achieved both a Masters with distinction in Games Development (MProf), and a 2:1 Bsc(Hons) undergraduate degree in Computer Game Applications Development.

Over the course of my time at university, I worked on several different projects including a multiple games development competitions and game jams. Through many of these projects, as well as my time at Abertay, I gained valuable experience working as part of a team towards a shared goal. As I move forward with my career, I look forward to more opportunities to work as part of team as well as improve my programming skills as an individual.

I have a real passion for both games development and playing games. My focus when making games tends to be around the mechanics themselves as the things I love the most in the games I play is the unique and interesting gameplay; and I find it fascinating trying to create some interesting mechanics for myself.
